There are now more than 1.4 million hectares of old-growth forests in the form of national parks, reserves, conservation parks and more. These old-growth forests are now protected for current and future generations to enjoy and explore, and for native wildlife and eco-systems to flourish.

Timber suppliers WA-wide are required to carry out any harvesting of timber under forest management plans.
